Occupation: A gentleman of leisure...
Hobbies: Paying ridiculous amounts of money for old wine. Reading Quidditch magazines. Trying to take an interest in the family business. Figuring out the next step.
Wand: Hickory, hippogryff feather, 10 inches
Boggart: He's not inclined to share with you, thanks.
Patronus(if applicable): Still has not been able to produce one. Then again, he never said he was a hero.

Backstory/History - aka, where they have been between DH and Ascendant, and beyond:
Zach skipped out on the final battle and has been dealing with that particular guilt trip for two years. He dealt with it in extraordinary fashion- by skipping the country and staying gone.
He wandered around parts of the world for the better part of six months, making a half-hearted attempt to sort through his problems. Mostly this was dealt with in all the typical ways - alcohol, casual encounters, sitting in pubs and muttering about life. Money, however, was not one of his problems, as his family took a remarkably tolerant view on his actions and did not cut him off.
He ended up in New Zealand around November 1998. The magic school in that region accepted him as a late entrant, where he completed his 7th year studies and earned a handful of NEWT equivalents. It was a unremarkable year. He didn't bother with Quidditch, didn't make any real friends, and packed his bags and left as soon as he finished exams.
More wandering for a few more months landed him in India. The levels of suffering he found there were in no way comparable to what had happened at home - it was far worse. And so he stayed, helping out where he could, trying to work off the guilt by donating time and effort and money.
It didn't help him the way he hoped it would...
